Expectations and Consequences
The expectations and consequences for the class are pretty simple. I believe in being as positive as possible. Each student will have a sticker folder in which I will give stickers everyday throughout the day for positive behavior such as turning in all completed classwork and homework, following all the expectations in the class, good grades on tests, helping one another, using encouraging words, cleaning up after themselves, etc. I will do random sticker checks to see how many stickers they have and give prizes for the set number of stickers I asked for. Each student will have an Eagle Buck pocket to keep their 20 Eagle Bucks in each day. Their goal is to keep 20 Eagle Bucks each day, adding up to 100 Bucks a week. On their homework sheet I will put how many bucks they have at the end of each day and you will be responsible for signing. The homework sheet will need to be signed by you. I will also have Fun Friday treats for them as well.
Welcome!
Welcome 4th Grade Students and Parents!
First of all, I want to welcome you to my 4th Grade class. Congratulations you have made it through 3rd Grade. I want you to know that I am very passionate about working with you and excited to start a new year. It is going to take a team effort for all of you to be successful. Parents, please make sure that you check your children homework folders and sign homework sheets every night. It is very important that you see what your child is doing each day. I will keep in touch through phone calls and e-mails. Also, make sure that your child has his/her supplies everyday such as pencils, notebooks, paper, homework folder with completed homework, and homework sheet signed along with any other paperwork sent home for signatures. I am also asking that you help with buying supplies for the class such as copy paper, hand sanitizer, and kleenex. Feel free to donate any items at any time and drop in to check in on your little ones. I thank you in advance for all of your support.

Homework Policy
The homework policy for my class is pretty simple. Monday-Thursday, the students will have homework. Normally they will have Reading for 30 mins., a Math assignment, and a Language Assignment. They may also have Social Studies occasionally. Please make sure your child read over the weekend to keep skills sharp from the week. They need to make sure that ALL of their homework is complete. If they do not have all of their homework complete, they will lose an Eagle Buck for each homework item missing and a Missing Assignment Sheet. They will also take some recess time to complete their homework and have walking time on the playground.
